Emily Short

Emily Short is one of the best-known authors of interactive fiction, with works including the text games Galatea, City of Secrets and Counterfeit Monkey; she has also worked with companies including Failbetter Games and Telltale Games. Short creates game characters that use natural language and react dynamically to players’ decisions. She is now continuing her career in Spirit AI, working on digital personas that communicate with users.
