Antoni Michnik

PhD student at IS PAN, graduate of IHS UW, cultural historian, performer. Founding member of the research-performance group ETC and the Late-Modernity Research Group at the Institute of Polish Culture, University of Warsaw. Since autumn 2013 he works in the editorial office of the Glissando magazine. He published in 'Konteksty', 'Kultura Popularna', 'Kultura Współczesna', 'Przegląd Humanistyczny', 'Rocznik Historii Sztuki', 'Zeszyty Literackie'. Co-editor of Fluxus books in three acts, as well as Narratives - aesthetics - geographies of the ETC Group (Krytyka Polityczna, 2014) and 'Poza Rejestrem'. Antoni talks about music and copyrights (Fundacja Nowoczesna Polska, 2015). Solo and with the ETC Group he performed at numerous festivals and contemporary art and music showcases, interpreting neo-avantgarde musical compositions. His conceptual work Obrączka is in the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow, MOCAK.
