Understanding Ourselves and AI through Art

Do computers have secrets? Sarah Newman is an artist and researcher at Harvard's metaLAB, where she leads the group's work at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Art. Newman will discuss two of her recent works, The Future of Secrets and Moral Labyrinth. These are interactive installations that explore human psychology, machine intelligence, and the mysterious space between them. Art is good at asking questions -- and there are many questions to be asked in the emerging space of AI. This dynamic presentation will cover curiosities about psychological projection, human agency, and moral philosophy. Newman will share insights about these topics from her recent works.
